Dorothia Ziemer was born in Germany in 1819, she was the wife of Christof Ziemer, She woild be my Great Great grandmother. Dorothia,s arrival date to the United States was July 31 , 1867 at the age of 25. Her Port of departure was Antwerp Belgium, her ships name was Guiseppe Baccarcick and Port of arrival was New York.
In September 28 , 1875 after Christof death she was remarried to Habs Juenk in St Pauls Medonia Lutheran Church, Tuscola - Douglad County Illinois. Dorothia was born in the Mecklenburh whitch bordered Schleswig - Holstein Germany. In 1901 Dorothia passed away, she is buried in the Lewis Cemetery with her second husband Hans Juenk in the east part of the cemetery with several family members around. Iagain had the oppertunity visit the grave yard and again the cemetery was clean and well taken of. Dorothia is buried about 5 miles north of where Christof.
This the beginning of the Ziemer family and the children and grandchildren of Christof and Dorothia Ziemer.
